A wonderful champion of David Jones, late friend and benefactor of the David Jones Society, Stanley Honeyman, who knew David Jones since his days at Harrow and supported him greatly, who also collected an enviable number of his paintings and painted inscriptions, died after a heavy fall downstairs, at home, on 1 April. The funeral is strictly private and will take place towards the end of April. The David Jones Society sends its deepest sympathy to Stanley's family. Rest in Peace.

Many thanks for the photograph that puts a face to a name. Mr Honeyman and my Father were both in the RA in the war and afterwards kept up a friendly correspondence until my Pa's early death in the 70's
