Blackfriars Cambridge will be hosting a free exhibition of its collection of artworks by David Jones and other artists. Titled Minor Prophets -- David Jones and Contemporary Art at Blackfriars, Cambridge, the exhibition will run from Friday 24th September to Sunday 3rd October 2021 at the Blackfriars Priory, Buckingham Rd, Cambridge, CB3 0DD. 

On Friday 24th September at 7 pm, Fr. Dominic White and Sr. Rose Rolling will give a lecture on "David Jones and Blackfriars"

On Wednesday 29th September at 7pm, Dr. Elizabeth Powell will give a lecture titled "The Maker’s Journey: A Study of David Jones’s Wood-Engravings for ‘The Book of Jonah‘"

This is the closing session of a week-long virtual workshop co-hosted with the National Library of Wales to make a digital edition of David Jones's The Book of Balaam's Ass, the manuscripts for which are held at the National Library.
