A wonderful champion of David Jones, late friend and benefactor of the David Jones Society, Stanley Honeyman, who knew David Jones since his days at Harrow and supported him greatly, who also collected an enviable number of his paintings and painted inscriptions, died after a heavy fall downstairs, at home, on 1 April.
The funeral is strictly private and will take place towards the end of April. The David Jones Society sends its deepest sympathy to Stanley's family.

A lovely find. The last collection of the late John Montague, Second Childhood (Gallery Press, 2017) published on what would have been the poet's 88th birthday, 'reconstruct[s] pilgrimages to and conversations with the poet and artist David Jones (1895-1974).' More information at the link below:
