![]() Nicholas Farrell reads sections of the BBC Radio 4's 'Book of the Week,' Thomas Dilworth's David Jones: Engraver, Soldier, Painter, Poet, available in the UK on BBC iPlayer. www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b08mjkqp/episodes/guide ![]() A wonderful champion of David Jones, late friend and benefactor of the David Jones Society, Stanley Honeyman, who knew David Jones since his days at Harrow and supported him greatly, who also collected an enviable number of his paintings and painted inscriptions, died after a heavy fall downstairs, at home, on 1 April. The funeral is strictly private and will take place towards the end of April. The David Jones Society sends its deepest sympathy to Stanley's family. Rest in Peace. ![]() A lovely find.
